Ezekiel Elijah Elliott, born July 22, 1995, nicknamed Zeke, is an American football running back who is a free agent. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Elliott was traded to the New England Patriots in 2022, but he is now returning to the Cowboys after just one season.

Elliott and the Cowboys have agreed to a one-year contract that will bring the multi-time former Pro Bowler back to the NFL. Elliott has been one of the best running backs in the league since he entered the NFL, and his return to Dallas is a major boost for the Cowboys' offense.
